The Dispute Resolution Center, a non-profit Community Dispute Resolution Program serving Washtenaw and Livingston Counties, has the following part-time position opening.
This is a short-term temporary position for one year. Position start date tentatively scheduled for late April - early May.
Restorative Justice Program Coordinator - Part-time, 20 hrs/week
Twenty hours per week part-time position with the following responsibilities: assist with development and implementation of a Restorative Justice Program in partnership with Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office. Responsibilities include, but not limited to case intake and development for youth and adult deflection and diversion; scheduling case sessions; assisting with presentations; data management; and volunteer relations.
Candidates must have knowledge and/or experience in facilitation, restorative justice practices, victim-offender dialogue and/or peacemaking; possess excellent people skills; excellent verbal and administrative skills; be attentive to details; work independently; relate to a diverse population; work experience that demonstrates such competencies; and knowledge of virtual meeting spaces.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates must be willing to travel locally and have reliable transportation.
