The Dispute Resolution Center, a non-profit Community Dispute Resolution Program serving Washtenaw and Livingston Counties, has the following part-time position opening.
This is a short-term temporary position for one year. Position start date tentatively scheduled for late April - early May.
Restorative Justice Program Coordinator - Part-time, 20 hrs/week
Twenty hours per week part-time position with the following responsibilities: assist with development and implementation of restorative justice service in partnership with prosecutor office. Responsibilities include, but not limited to case intake and development for youth and adult deflection and diversion; scheduling case sessions; assisting with presentations; data management; and volunteer relations.
Candidates must have knowledge and/or experience in facilitation, restorative justice practices, victim-offender dialogue and/or peacemaking; possess excellent people skills; excellent verbal and administrative skills; be attentive to details; work independently; relate to a diverse population; work experience that demonstrates such competencies; and knowledge of virtual meeting spaces.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates must be willing to travel locally and have reliable transportation.
